Considering children's fondness with the beauty of expressions, thoughts, rhymes and music of words, a Rhyme Recitation Competition was recently organized for our tiny tots at Presidium, Hisar. The little Presidians enthusiastically participated in the fun-filled competition and exhibited their oratory talent and confidence. The budding leaders beautifully displayed their props and rhymes through facial expressions and gestures. Everyone was spellbound after seeing their innocent performances!

It’s labour indeed that puts the difference to everything!
To celebrate the painstaking efforts of labour force that works tirelessly, a special assembly was recently conducted on the occasion of Labour Day at Presidium, Hisar. Our school's workers were given the opportunity to bring forth their views on stage, post which the assembly commenced with a thought, highlighting the importance of hard work in life. This was followed by news headlines, inspirational speeches and a quiz, based on the facts related to Labour Day. Forging a better understanding of the labour community among our students, the assembly taught them to respect and appreciate the efforts of 'our helpers'.

PRESIDIUM REVERBERATES WITH ART OF DANCE & LORD BUDDHA'S DIVINITY

“The mind is everything. What you think, you become”. - Lord Buddha
The month of April marks two important events - Buddha Purnima and World Dance Day. To celebrate both these wonderful days, a special assembly was recently organized by our grade 5 students at Presidium, Hisar. In the first half, the Presidians commemorated the birth, enlightenment and death of Lord Buddha. A small skit was performed by the students to spread the message - 'find Buddhism in yourself by preaching his teachings'. Second half of the assembly blossomed the environment with some magnificent dance forms. To reinforce and assimilate the knowledge gained, an open quiz was conducted, which made the environment very lively and interesting.

PRESIDIANS PLEDGE TO WORK EACH DAY FOR MOTHER EARTH

Mother Earth is the culmination of multiple and diverse energies, which is brought together to create a rich aesthetic experience with a message of harmony and co-existence!
As a step towards inspiring, educating and motivating children to act on this notion, a special assembly was recently held to celebrate Earth Day wherein, Presidians aired their views by narrating the history of Earth Day, mentioning the side effects of modifying nature for selfish needs and understanding their duties towards Mother Earth. The assembly concluded with a pledge emphasizing not only on the importance of conserving natural resources but on observing each day as an Earth Day.

PRESIDIANS RELISH A NICE FUN IN THE SUN EXPERIENCE ON EARTH DAY

A small change in the time table is just like having an ice cream sundae on a sunny day with an added advantage of experiential learning, side by side!
In synch with this theme, the grade 1 students of Presidium Hisar were recently taken to a park on the occasion of Earth Day. Excited and enthusiastic about their visit to park, the little Presidians enjoyed and charmed all with their cheerful faces and innocent giggles. Enhancing their physical, mental and social wellbeing, the visit also gave them a healthy exposure to sunlight and fresh air; plus it brought the tiny tots closer to the Mother Nature and opened the world of imagination for them!

In order to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar for the people of India, a special assembly was recently organised on Ambedkar Jayanti at Presidium, Hisar. Students delivered captivating and informative performances on his life history and achievements. They also highlighted his writing of the lengthiest constitution in the world. His contributions to bridge the gap between the bourgeoisie and proletarians were also brought to light. The assembly acted as an encouragement for the Presidians to inculcate similar values in their lives, to achieve their aim and act like a catalyst to create a better society.

WORLD HEALTH DAY- PRESIDIANS APPRISE ABOUT IMPORTANCE OF HEALTH

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity!
On this note, a special assembly was recently organized by our grade 10 students on the occasion of World Health Day at Presidium, Hisar. Packed with great zeal and enthusiasm, the students started the assembly by showcasing an array of interesting programmes like a beautiful thought on topic ‘the greatest wealth is health’, apprising all of the importance of health and what are its objectives. An awareness drive was also organised, wherein the students showcased the ‘themes’ of World Health Day from 2011 to 2018, along with their meanings. Culminating with a small quiz on World Health Day, the day enlightened the young learners about the significance of healthy diet, exercise and good health in life.
