‘The only way to learn MATHEMATICS is to DO MATHEMATICS.’ Mathematics activities/competitions help the students to think from a different perspective. It also promotes many good qualities like teamwork, problem-solving skills, time management, patience, etc. In order to test the knowledge of the basic concepts, Mathematics activity was organized for Grade- VI. It generated intense interest in the students. The aim of conducting this activity was to represent decimal numbers on the Grid. Students thoroughly enjoyed the activity as they learned about decimal numbers and their representation on Grid.

Physics activities/competitions help the students to think from a different perspective. Science is different because the answers to scientific questions are not found in a textbook or through pondering high and lofty thoughts but result from the careful collection and analysis of laboratory evidence. To test the practical knowledge of the basic concepts, Physics activity was organized for Grade- IX. It generated intense interest in the students. The aim of conducting this activity was to enhance the practical knowledge of students. Students learned about the Graphical Representation of Motion through Distance- Time and Velocity- Time Graph. It was indeed an interesting and educational experience for our students.

“Culture Education is an essential aspect of the curriculum.” Understanding the importance of culture and glorifying Indian traditions with the young generation, staff and students of Presidium celebrated Janmashtami with great fervor and devotion. Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and eminent reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. Presidium seized the opportunity to both jubilate and foster young minds regarding tradition. The tiny tots of Nursery and Prep were dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha, along with flute, peacock feathers, and matkis, which touched everyone’s heart. In a mesmerizing skit, Presidians portrayed the characters of Lord Sri Krishna, Radha, Sudama, and Balram. The event also showcased young hands at the craft like Matki & Flute decoration. From Bal Leela to Raas Leela, Presidians left no stone unturned to put their best foot forward. The assembly culminated with a message by our respected Principal emphasizing moral values and Victory of Good over Evil.

Maps help to clarify and structure ideas. A map activity was conducted in grade 6 of Presidium to help students synthesize and integrate information, ideas, and concepts. On the physical map of India, students marked tributaries of different rivers and identified the Sulaiman and Kirthar hills' location. During this activity, students noticed how small streams flowing from different directions come together to form the main river. This helped them to represent the real world on a much smaller scale. It was a fun-filled activity and assisted our students to enhance their learning.

"You do not have to brush all of your teeth, just the ones you want to keep." Keeping the above quote in mind and to inculcate good oral hygiene habits in children, an activity 'Teeth to Treasure' was conducted in grade IV in Presidium. Through this activity, students were asked to explain the functions of different teeth in our mouth using a teeth model. The students exhibited unique ways to present their 3-D model of teeth using clay, chart paper, and even card boxes. Understanding the relationship between the structure of teeth and their functions was a piece of cake for them through this experiential learning methodology. The students also learned that if they ignore their teeth, they will go away eventually.

To interpret Geometrically the factors of a Quadratic Expression, an activity was organized for the Presidians. The activities demonstrated the mathematical concepts in a simplified manner. This helped simplify the subject, and it also generated curiosity amongst students to learn the subject in a better way. The students of Grade 9 performed an activity on factorization of Quadratic Polynomial by Splitting the Middle Term. It helped students to know about the concept in a very easy and simplified manner. Students were very excited, and enthusiastically participated in the activity.

"Let grammar, punctuation, and spelling into your life! Even the most energetic and wonderful mess has to be turned into sentences." Spellathon is an activity that provides an opportunity for the students to enhance their vocabulary and study for the spelling test. To motivate students to take a keen interest in enriching their vocabulary skills to become effective and impressive communicators, an English Spellathon Activity was conducted in Grade 10. Featuring multiple rounds like Tell the Correctly Spelt Word round, Word Hunt round, Make My Word round, Spot the Correct Synonyms/ Antonyms round and Guess the British Word round, it was a knowledge packed activity. It is one of the best integration of imagination, education, technology, inclusiveness, and fun in online classes with a purpose.
