It’s also about the unique bond between siblings.” To mark this prestigious day of Raksha Bandhan, students of Presidium organized a very heart touching Online Assembly. The cute and charming girls celebrated the day by tying beautiful handmade rakhis on the wrist of their brothers, and in return, their brothers gifted them beautiful gifts with the promise of their sister’s protection and care forever. The special bond between brother and sister was clearly visible by the energetic, enthusiastic, and beautiful dance performances. To tell the importance of this auspicious day, the students delivered speeches too.

The friends you make in school are one of the best you can ever have. There is something about these childhood friends that you can never replace. A special assembly on Friendship Day was also conducted by students of Presidium. The students portrayed the special love and care for their besties by sharing memorable moments spent with them and expressing their feelings about how much they miss them during these tough times. The energy, enthusiasm, and enjoyment of the students during the celebration made the efforts of Presidians successful. The hard work and grit of students and teachers to prepare the assembly digitally was evident in the show and applauded by one and all.

Students of Presidium celebrated International Tiger Day, wherein a variety of activities and programs were carried to promote the cause of ‘Save our Tigers.’ A special Morning Assembly was conducted where students of Grade VIII presented an informational speech. Students were asked some general knowledge questions to motivate all to become sensitive to the cause, especially the youth, as they are the future stakeholder of the country. After the morning assembly, students of Grade VI prepared masks of tigers in their Art & Craft Class to understand this day in a fun way. Also, Grade VII students made beautiful sketches and slogans to sensitize the youth and the concerned citizens to understand the importance of tigers in the forest ecosystem and how it affects humans. The teachers appreciated the commendable efforts of the students and urged them to stop using leather products and become responsible for the environment and make this world a better place to live for all living beings.

Presidians bid adieu to the winter season with the eagerly awaited event, Winter Carnival.  Buzzed with activities, fun, and excitement, the school ground pulsated with scintillating music and a lively crowd. Held every year, the carnival had everything to offer right from food to entertainment, rides to games and merchandise including Magic Show, Tambola, Colouring Competition, Dance Competition, live orchestra, lip-smacking food stalls, swings, etc. The students had put up game stalls with games so enticing that everybody wished to try hands at them. Tattoo art added glamour to the fiesta. These stalls were indeed a crowd puller. Carnival stage was kept alive with some enthralling performances by the Presidians, and the air was simply magical as enjoyment was at its peak. The zest and zeal exhibited by an enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made the Winter Carnival 2020 a memorable one indeed.

A special meeting with Ma’am was organized for the School Council Members, where Ma'am shared some wonderful teaching insights with them. Republic Day is a celebration of democracy and diversity of India which infuses a sense of patriotism in every Indian. The students of Presidium celebrated the grandeur and exuberance of India on this special day. With great fervor, the students also paid homage to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The school echoed with patriotic fervor as the mellifluous school choir crooned the patriotic song. The highlight of the day was a scintillating dance performance on Incredible India. The entire program sensitized the children for the fact that the future of their country lies in their hands. They pledged to uphold the honor of India which has flourished despite various adversities to rise victorious.
