Presidium, Hisar conducted a special assembly on Holi on March 10, 2017 to create awareness among children about the importance of the festival in our life. Holi is not only about colors and sweets but it signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, culmination of the winter season and it is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.

In the assembly, students brought to light the significance of the day by sharing thought for the day and by delivering speeches. The recitation of the poem ‘Holi aayi, Holi aayi’ added fervor to  the celebration among the students. A quiz based on some general facts about Holi was conducted to examine as well as to enhance the knowledge of the students. To add to the glory of celebration, a group of students dressed in colorful attires holding water guns and flowers danced gracefully on the song of Holi which led the audience mesmerized by their performance.

The honorable Vice Principal of the school, Ms. Shalini Chaudhary enlightened the students about the significance of victory of good over evil and spread the message of peace and brotherhood for the entire humanity.
