PRESIDIANS ENRICH THEIR VOCABULARY WITH WORD BUILDING ACTIVITY

A virtual activity was organized in an English class named “WORD FUN” for students of Grade 2. Through this activity, students came to know about making many small different words out of one big word. In this activity, students prepared charts showing a big word in cloud shape and small words in the shape of the drop. For example, if the big word taken is “INTERESTING,” then the small words made were: in, ring, sing, sit, rest, etc. In this way, students learned to make different meaningful words from a single word. While doing this activity, all students were full of energy and zeal.
