Art Integrated Project of Mathematics on Power Stations in Telangana.

Words given by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore accurately explain the necessity of Art integration in education. The integration of art with education enables the students to derive meaning and understanding directly from the learning experience, makes the learning process more joyful, develops life skills, broadens the student's mind, and enables him/her to see the multidisciplinary links between Mathematical concepts and real life. Keeping this viewpoint in mind, students of Grade-9 performed an activity in which they prepared a Magazine based on the Power stations present in the state of Telangana. It helped them apply art-based inquiry, investigation and exploration, critical thinking, and creativity for a deeper understanding of the concept of Graphical representation of data they have collected. They have enthusiastically participated in the activity and learned through their own experiences.
