“Culture Education is an essential aspect of the curriculum.” Understanding the importance of culture and glorifying Indian traditions with the young generation, staff and students of Presidium celebrated Janmashtami with great fervor and devotion. Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and eminent reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. Presidium seized the opportunity to both jubilate and foster young minds regarding tradition. The tiny tots of Nursery and Prep were dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha, along with flute, peacock feathers, and matkis, which touched everyone’s heart. In a mesmerizing skit, Presidians portrayed the characters of Lord Sri Krishna, Radha, Sudama, and Balram. The event also showcased young hands at the craft like Matki & Flute decoration. From Bal Leela to Raas Leela, Presidians left no stone unturned to put their best foot forward. The assembly culminated with a message by our respected Principal emphasizing moral values and Victory of Good over Evil.
