Wind, Water, Sun: Energy for the long run. Akshay Urja Diwas is an awareness crusade about the improvements of renewable energy in India, celebrated on August 20 every year since 2004. The day commemorates the birthday of former Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi. Aiming towards the future aspects of renewable energy, a morning assembly was conducted by the students of Presidium, Hisar. The assembly commenced with the Morning Prayer which is believed to provide peace and serenity to our minds and souls, followed by the ‘Word of Wisdom’, News update and brain storming session by asking G.K. questions. The students recited a poememphasizing on ‘Power of Renewable Energy Sources’ and giving a message that 100%

renewable energy is not a dream, it’s an achievable reality. Let us together adopt sustainability and promote the usage of renewable energy for a greener future and grow approach to utilize renewable energy more productively.
