‘The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals’

A special assembly on Eid –Ul –Zuha and Raksha Bandhan was organized by the students of Grades 3 and 8 to raise awareness about the importance of festivals among the students. The special assembly started with the Morning Prayer followed by the news headlines and Thought for the Day. The students highlighted the importance of the festivals through their speeches on the festivals ‘Eid-ul-Zuha’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’. Grade 3 gave a beautiful message about bond of brother and sister through a skit. A G.K quiz was also organized to check the awareness about the festivals. It was understood by all that relationships are the essence of human life. The assembly was addressed by the Principal Ms. Ragni Mansukhani. She encouraged the students with her enriching words. The assembly elevated festive spirit among the students. Every Presidian realized that ‘Life is a festival so just celebrate every moment in a grand way’.
