STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT THE STRUCTURE OF TEETH & THEIR FUNCTION

“You do not have to brush all of your teeth, just the ones you want to keep.”
Keeping the above quote in mind and to inculcate good oral hygiene habits in students, a virtual activity, 'TEETH TO TREASURE' was conducted in Grade IV. Through this activity, students were asked to explain the functions of different types of teeth in our mouth by preparing a model of teeth. The students exhibited unique ways to present their 3-D model of teeth using clay, chart paper, and even card boxes. Understanding the relationship between the structure of teeth and their functions was a piece of cake for them through this experiential learning methodology. The students also learned that if they ignore their teeth, they will go away eventually.
