Letting the Presidians explore their potential and realize significant scientific skills, this wonderful ice-breaking session on ‘Oxygen supports burning’ was experiential learning for all the students! The students presented their activity through charts, models, doing live experiments in the class. The hands-on activities helped the students to grasp the concept better. Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or logarithms; it is all about understanding. Keeping this thought in mind, an activity on the topic ‘Symmetry’ was done virtually by students of Grade 3. Through this activity, students learned that a shape is symmetrical when it is folded into two equal halves horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. This exercise helped them in exploring the line of symmetry. The concept will also help them to build a better understanding of angles in further studies.
