HISAR HEROES 2016: PRESIDIANS WON THE SHOW!

Presidium, Hisar hosted an Inter School Competition ‘Hisar Heroes’ on November 26, 2016. This event brought the talent of Hisar on one platform. Mr. Mukesh Saini (JMIC) graced the occasion as the chief guest; Mr. Gurudev Singh Heera, Retired Director of Research and Agriculture (Punjab University) and Mr. B.P Singh, Ex. Engineer (CIRB, Hisar) presided over the event as the guests of honor. The competition witnessed 220 students from 25 schools showcasing best of their talents in the competitive events in different categories. Their enthusiastic participation made the event a huge success. The laudable performances by the students proved the statement that success lies in doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. The six participants who were declared as ‘Hisar Heroes’ in different categories were: Manas Goyal, Priya, Ananya, Shipra and Mahi, Shubhi, and Bhumika and Himanshu Rhyme Recitation, Coloring, Painting, Best Out of Waste, Dance(Solo) and Dance (Duet) respectively. The chief guest commended the creativity and enthusiasm of participants and said that these momentous occasions bring the schools together and inculcate a desire to compete and excel amongst the students. The Vice Principal, Ms. Shalini Choudhary delivered the vote of thanks and acclaimed the efforts of all the participants and the teachers for making the event a grand success.

FUTURE FEST 2016 AT PRESIDIUM HISAR

The mesmerizing aura of young Presidians and their talents were the demeanor of the annual extravaganza of Presidium Hisar. The celebration occasion was graced by the presence of our honorable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, an educationist par excellence and visionary with a difference.
The charisma of our young Presidians captures the hearts of all when they presented Krishna Stuti through which they paid obeisance to Lord Krishna. Presidians rejuvenated everyone with their energizing retro dance performance and portrayed the feeling of pride for their country. An array of scintillating dance performances mesmerized everyone; the parents went through an emotional rollercoaster.  Ms. Neerja Chawla, Director, Presidium Hisar thanked the parents and staff members for making the event a huge success.

Celebrating the festive season at Presidium, Hisar

‘Children are God’s precious gift to the world and we have every reason to celebrate their day.’
Children's day and Guru Nanak Jayanti were celebrated with gaiety and fervor at Presidium, Hisar on November 11, 2016. The celebration began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers and the students. The students had a fun time seeing their teachers in a completely different and unique role. Teachers performed group dance on the song ‘Bum Bum Bole’ and true to its lyrics, teachers as well as students enjoyed their performance very much. Teachers also shared their views via thought for the day, GK questions, poems and speeches on the theme. Students of grade 7th enlightened the audience by sharing the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.  A special act on Gurbani was also presented by them. The whole atrium vibrated with the religious fervor on the chanting of hymns and Prasad was distributed among the students.
The Vice Principal conveyed her greetings on Children’s Day and Guru Nanak Jayanti. She said that children are the future of the nation and motivated them to enjoy their childhood. She emphasized to follow the principals of Guru Nanak Ji.

LEADERS OF TOMORROW CROWNED AT INVESTITURE CEREMONY IN HISAR

The Investiture Ceremony, 2016, witnessed the young Presidians being honoured with prestigious positions in the school’s Student Council. The students, teachers and parents were congratulated on the joyous occasion and students were wished a bright year ahead. 

At the ceremony, some of the coveted titles bestowed upon the students were - School Head Girl, Head Boy, Cultural Head, Sports Head, President Social Cause, Club Presidents and their respective councils. At the event, Junior School Council was also felicitated, thus giving learning and leadership opportunities at an even younger age. Presidians received the new roles and responsibilities with grace and dignity. The charismatic oath instilled confidence on their intention and capabilities. The decorated badges filled their hearts with both joy and gratitude towards their parents, teachers and school.

PRESIDIUM HISAR GRABS 9 MEDALS AT DISTRICT GRAPPLING COMPETITION

Our promising champions from Presidium, Hisar, gave a remarkable performance at the 9th District Level Grappling Competition organized at Tohana from 29th April to 1st May 2016. The students participated in the Under-12 category and grabbed a total of 9 medals in the competitions. Our champs Tarushi, Valentina, Abhimanyu, Risha and Sanvi, swept 5 Gold medals; while Abhijeet and Bhavya won Silver medal and Gaurav Narang was awarded a bronze medal. Haryana’s sports minister, Mr. Anil Vij and BJP Minister, Mr. Subhash Barala felicitated the winners and congratulated them.

MRS. GUPTA’S POSITIVE PARENTING SEMINAR HELD AT HISAR

Yet another inspiring seminar was held on Positive Parenting by our Parenting expert, Mrs. Sudha Gupta. The seminar was held at Guru Jambehswar University on 2nd April. The seminar was on the universal topic of parenting and problems faced by parents. At the informative seminar, Mrs. Gupta addressed the parent’s woes and delivered answers to the questions that bother parents everywhere. The seminar proved to be a fruitful interaction between our parenting expert and the parents attending the seminar.

PRESIDIUM HISAR CELEBRATES REPUBLIC DAY

The 67th Republic Day of India was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Presidium, Hisar. It was on this day when in 1950 the Constitution of India came into force and it became a Sovereign Democratic Republic. The students of Presidium Hisar took pride in glorifying and celebrating the day with great zeal and fervor. To mark the occasion, a grand celebration was organised in the school. The event commenced with the release of tricolour balloons and the students sang the national anthem as the flag swirled in the air and the spirit of nationality spread in the atmosphere all around.
