Science is not a subject; it is an experience, and hands-on work is an integral part to achieve that. To bring out a clear conceptual knowledge related to acids and bases, Grade VII students performed an online activity demonstrating the acidic and basic nature of various liquids available at their homes. Interestingly students used the ‘Natural Indicators’ present at home to perform the activity. The objective was not only to inculcate a scientific attitude and research-mindedness but also to create learning aids. It involves students participating in activities to understand the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of the task.
