Presidium organized a special assembly in its virtual classes to enlighten the students about the importance of the Youth of the country. The students were told that this day is dedicated to youth across the world. It highlights their voice and celebrates their achievements. International Youth Day is a United Nations- designated day when youth from different countries participate in events and discussions on socio-economic and socio-political issues. A documentary was shown to the students in which they were told about the theme of International Youth Day 2021 which is, “Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health”, with the aim of highlighting that the success of such a global effort will not be achieved without the meaningful participation of young people. An array of activities were organized to observe this day. For students of Grades VI and VII, a role-play on Youth Icons of India during Pandemic was organized, a declamation competition on the topic: ‘Role of Youth in Building a Nation’ for Grade VIII students and for Grades IX and X, MUN was organized. On this occasion, the School Principal enlightened the students by telling them the significance of the role youth plays by being the leaders of tomorrow.
