Onam is one of Kerala's most significant harvest festivals and is an attraction for thousands of people outside and within the State. During this season, all the activities are centered on worship, music, dance, sports, boat races, and delicious food. To mark Onam's significance and portray our cultural diversity, students of Presidium conducted a special online assembly on Onam. It started with an enchanting prayer, and then the students showcased various traditions followed during this celebration, from Rangoli Making - Pookkalam to beautiful dances and from the cooking of special delicacies to the making of beautiful colorful boats. Students also presented an informative speech based on the story behind the celebration of Onam. They portrayed the role of King Mahabali along with the reason to celebrate this Harvest festival.
