Keeping in mind this statement and to lead the students of grade 9 towards environment conservation, a special assembly was organised on ‘Earth Overshoot Day’. This day is celebrated to let the world know that we are over using Earth’s ecological resources. The assembly started with an article on importance of conservation of resources. The students shared their views on the significance of Earth Overshoot Day. The Vice Principal, Ms. Shalini Choudhary addressed the students appreciating their efforts and talked about their responsibilities as responsible citizens of the world. The assembly ended with a pledge to conserve our beautiful home - Earth, by ensuring sustainable development.
